1. Eltham Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals booked with Eltham are governed by a Rental Agreement provided with your booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement sets out the terms, conditions, insurance cover, charges, and your responsibilities for the specific rental. If any term of these Terms conflicts with the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will govern that rental.

2. Eltham Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Eltham, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age limits may differ by vehicle type, and additional charges may apply for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period stated in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification along with proof of address and a payment method as required by Eltham and the Rental Agreement.

3. Eltham Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Eltham location. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. 4. Vehicle Collection and Return — Eltham

  • You must inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage to Eltham immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and an Eltham representative. Return the vehicle to Eltham in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed by Eltham and charged accordingly.

5. Insurance and Liability — Eltham

  • Eltham includes basic third-party insurance with all rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are outlined in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We advise reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess stated in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellation and amendment policies for Eltham bookings vary by booking type and notice period. Please consult your booking confirmation or rental agreement for the specific terms that apply to your Eltham reservation. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Eltham Restrictions

You must not use the Eltham vehicle for:

Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials or substances. Sub-letting the vehicle to third parties or allowing unauthorized drivers to operate it. Driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use of the vehicle for purposes for which it is not designed or equipped.

Violating these restrictions in Eltham may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Eltham Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Eltham will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by you for the service giving rise to the claim.
